Call to action

Usually in normal conditions months can be spent after an idea turns into a prototype or a product. Hackathons accelerate the process and make all things go super fast — just several days!

community

Community

Common work on a same problem gathers together and forms a community of real professionals.

clients

Audience Research

The main question for the projects is what kind of problem they solve. Mentors, coaches and judges give feedback to participants.

Search for investors

If any of investors or partners or even jury members notice unique features of your project that might be the first step of your real business in cooperation with them.

talks

Fresh View

Third-party participants look at someone else’s idea in a new way and share their vision.

Miracles Happen

Nobody knows what will appear on the hackathon. For example, MSQRD was created on one of the hackathonos in Imaguru.

FAQs

> What if I don’t have an idea or a team?

It’s OK! If you have skills of development, design, marketing, project management, or simply understand the hackathon theme, you can register as a individual participant and find the team in place.

> Can I apply my knowledge without joining the teams?

Of course! On the hackathon there are mentors — professionals from the industry consulting projects. Their task is to help projects to understand the topic and point out the flaws. Contact us if you want to become a hackathon mentor.

> Do participants have time to sleep and access to food?

The hackathon has a schedule of breakfasts, lunches and dinners, and there are snacks and drinks in constant access. As usual, participants either go home to sleep, or find a sofa / armchair in Imaguru and lie down on them. Organizers are always in place, so you can ask for a blanket, heater or pillow.

> What happens with projects after the hackathon?

If the project has won, it gets the support of partners who want to work with it. This can be both money for development and participation in acceleration programs. Further development of the project depends on their creators.

> Why do companies need hackathons

For companies hackathons are a quick way to find and try out many ideas to select the most viable ones. On hackathons it takes 48 hours, what normally can lasts for the months.

>What do i bring?

You can bring your laptops, mobile phones, wearable computing devices, to whatever inspires you but above all, your energy and your brain! Don’t worry if you forget something, there will be tons of stuff to do.

>Who owns my project and IP?>

The team that develops the project is the owner of the project and IP.
